One of the most difficult parts of finding a job in real estate is identifying which companies are right for you. While I intended on assembling a list of reputable companies to make your job search less cumbersome, someone else did such a great job I thought I’d point you to their resource.

Bruce Kirsch of Real Estate Financial Modeling recently launched the REFM CRE Company Database which is a crowd-sourced database of CRE companies organized by various categories including property type, specialization, location etc. The database contains nearly 800 companies and counting.

In my day to day work, I come across a lot of small entrepreneurial companies that are just starting off. Typically these are 2-3 friends that have decided to take the leap and start their own firm. I’ve decided to dedicate this page to highlighting these small entrepreneurs that are the lifeblood of our industry. Please let em know if you have any companies to add to the list.
